Creating a conscious closet or clothing capsules is not just about building an effective everyday closet but also curating styles that make you feel good in them, that bring out your confidence, that help express who you are.
As our winter season comes to a close, we wanted to share how our Shore pieces create timeless clothing capsules. Our Shore story itself is all about embracing your inner strengths, being bold in how you go out into the world through your conscious choices and your style, while also embracing your softer side - understanding that being gentle is also a power in itself.
But first, let’s start with explaining some basics.
Curate & Collect
The art of capsule dressing can take a bit of time, but with a detailed eye and a more thoughtful approach to your wardrobe, instilling a conscious mindset through fashion gets easier and easier.
So, what is a capsule wardrobe?
Generally, it’s a curated collection of clothing items, often between 20 to 40 pieces, that can be mixed and matched to create multiple outfits.
This can be taken further to organise your closet with particular parameters - you can create mini capsule of workwear pieces; occasion pieces; holiday pieces; and so on, depending on your own lifestyle.
What does capsule dressing mean?
It’s a more thoughtful way to go about styling your pieces daily - it’s making better use of your basics, trying out a variety of combinations to reimagine how every piece can support different contexts, i.e. a button down shirt can be styled with jeans for a grocery store run, and then also be styled with formal trousers to head to the office with you.
How would you get started?
Evaluate the closet you already have!
You most likely have been inadvertently creating clothing capsules already, but this evaluation will help you be more mindful of your preferences. Take a good look at what silhouettes, colours and fabrics you naturally gravitate towards, as well as find out what pieces you very rarely (or even never) put on. Once this key step is done, you’ll have a much better understanding of what you should invest in or avoid in the future.
Now, on to the fun part, the Shore pieces we think would be great additions to anyone’s conscious closet!
Day to day styling made easy
Shore is our Winter 2026 Edit, a collection inspired by the notion of embracing your duality, your multifaceted strengths, to create styles that make you feel comfortable and confident wherever you go - perfect pieces that encourage you to love your unique sense of style, as well as the body that adorns the piece.
What’s more is every piece is made in sustainable fabrics.
As a natural clothing brand, we always recommend choosing and buying styles made from conscious, natural fabrics - those styles will be more durable; are healthier to wear long term; and shed biodegradable fibres when washed therefore they won’t pollute our ecosystems.
These are just a few of the benefits, and additionally, our own sustainable women’s clothing is made from fabrics like Kala cotton, handwoven organic cotton, and sustainable denim, all of which get softer over time.
Here’s what you should add to your wardrobe:
-
The Everyday Basic
This is a piece that is classic in every sense of the word, when you think ‘timeless women’s clothing’, this is that. A silhouette that’s always ‘in fashion’; that you never have to second guess putting on for any daily errand; a piece you can depend on if all other styles fail you in the moment; and it’s super versatile so you can style it over and over.

This is your occasion look, what you can easily pull out when you want to dress up, meet with friends at a bar, go on a dinner date, or just when you want to feel beautiful. And again, it still meets the criteria of a ‘timeless women’s clothing’ piece but definitely stands out in the crowd.
